The Terri Green Project
What a Feeling
The long awaited album has arrived on Sept 6th 2019 the second long play from The Terri Green Project, and brings their sound to a global audience.
The first single Night to Remember stuck soul magic topping the UK Soul Charts at #1 in April 2019, and again top ten with the second single, Giving It Up at #9. The band reached the attention of the US Billboard Club Songs Chart rising #12. The former dance queen, under simply Terri B!, was already legendary to deejays and clubs worldwide, topping Traxsource, Billboard, and Dance charts globally, including #1 in the top 100 in Spain and Italy as a member of 2 Eivissa in the 90s, but a tip from producer Torsten Abrolat aka Toddi Reed, a Sax player and keyboardist, was the beginning of their magical journey, cre-ating what they like to call Grown and Sexy music for soul music lovers. Penning all of the titles except the sultry cover of The Look of Love, the message was received loud and clear and the band has been gaining the exact audience they so much wanted to reach. Highlights include the disco tinged chic inspired Night to Remember, the silky smooth track Giving It Up, with both David fingers Haynes (Prince, Til Bronner) on drums andThomas Stieger (Gregory Porter, Sarah Connor) on bass.
Former London Philharmonic Cellist Rebecca Carrington and her husband vocalist Colin Brown (Robbie Williams), delight on their rendition with TGP of The Look of Love, which fea-tures Colin’s deep luscious vocal and Rebecca’s perfectly timed Cello performance.
2010 songwriter Hall Writing Hall of Fame inductee, and long time friend Stephen H. Dorff, (Whitney Houston, Barbara Streisand) join the band with a disco version of a ballad he cowrote with Ter-ri, Should Have Seen It Coming which features the powerhouse Weather on backing vocals. Producer Todd Edgar Wright (Celin Dion, Lena Meyer-landrut) lends his song writing talents to the project on a tune cowritten with Terri and Toddi, Fight No More, a disco burner that details the story of love at a crossroad. We cant forget Terri and Torsten paying homage to all the greats who inspired their careers and love for music on Dance Tonight, which reminds of the reaches back to grab a bit of the Philly sound but with a Terri Green twist.
